We are looking for a BI Analyst to join our expanding team. As a BI Analyst, you will work closely with various teams within the company to collect and review Business Intelligence requirements and work to deliver these by analysing the data to provide solutions.

  • Build reports that effectively present, aggregate and visualise data
  • Create technical documents to document database content, concepts, and mapping between databases
  • Maintain accurate and comprehensive inventory of data, data systems, and data storage
  • Identify source data, source systems and data mapping required to deliver BI solutions
  • Contribute toward maintaining and enhancing the business intelligence data backend, including data warehouses, by reviewing requirements for the modelling and manipulation of data
  • Identify data needs within the organisation and for our customers with an in-depth understanding of their key metrics
  • Running complex reports from existing databases
  • Recommend strategies to improve performance and capacity of BI tools
  • Work with business groups and technical teams to assess data requirements and develop data models representative of those requirements
  • Determine business intelligence reporting solution and data warehousing requirements to meet business needs
  • Stay updated with business operations and business intelligence processes
  • Provide input into the design, development, and analysis of data architecture and warehousing approaches
  • Perform functional testing and data validation of reports and other Business Intelligence deliverables before presenting to Business Users
  • Minimum 5-6 years related working experience with exposure to IT operations, service industry, Fintech or banking advantageous
  • Strong understanding of SQL and RDBMS technology
  • Well versed in BI tools, PowerBI/Qlikview/Tableau desirable
  • Demonstrated detailed knowledge of BI areas including ETL design, analytics, reporting and data modelling
  • Knowledge of OLTP/OLAP systems, Dimensional Modelling, business rule transformations and data analysis
  • Advanced ability in problem-solving
  • Exceptional organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Willing to learn new tools and business processes
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and conflict resolution skills
  • Possess a strong work ethic and a team player mentality
  • Capability to think out of the box
