Card scheme fees
The Interchange++ (IC++) pricing model breaks down transaction fees into three components: the interchange fee (which goes to the card issuing bank), the scheme fee (which goes to Visa or Mastercard), and the acquirer fee. Below is a breakdown of the applicable scheme fees.

**Based on the merchant country, merchants may incur an additional scheme fee, which could be as low as 0.00125% (Austria), or in some countries (Poland, Romania) as high as 0.05%.
*** If 3D Secure is not enabled, an additional €0.02 is charged on scheme fees.
Visa Transactions that are not settled in their domestic currency will incur an additional 0.10% fee.
Mastercard transactions processed using MCC’s 4829, 6050, 6051, 7995, 7800, 7802 will incur an additional €0.05 in scheme fees for Domestic and Intra regional transactions and an additional €0.20 in scheme fees for inter-regional transactions.
