First off what is the difference between a reversal and a refund? A reversal needs to happen on the same day that a transaction took place, this means that your customer’s money will actually not leave their bank account and there will be no record of the transaction ever happening on their bank statement. Whereas a refund involves the money leaving your customers bank and you having to pay it back, refunds generally take 24 to 48 hours to process.
You can process any refund or reversal from inside your Truevo Account Portal. Simply find the transaction you are looking for, click on it and wait for the refund or reversal option to appear. Once you click on the option we’ll automatically populate the refund amount to the full value of the transaction, you can update this to be a partial refund if you’d like and press the next button.
Give your staff, accountant or partners access to your online Portal with varying levels of viewing permission. You can also order debit cards for anyone in your business, giving them access to your business finances.
